Burning Man Come and Gone....

Yeah. That rocked. Like, a lot.

BM2011 was amazing! The amount of work that went into getting the LP camp prepped for the playa definitely showed!

-The yurts were plentiful! Yurtopolis contained 24 yurts this year!!
-The scaffolding tower stood tall and offered an amazing 360-degree view of the beautiful Black Rock City!
-The Flower was planted firmly near the road, an LP icon welcoming friends, family, and passers-by into the LP camp!
-The amazing heart sculpture, Incardia Vere, which itself made it's return voyage back to the desert after a year off!
-It was the second year of our incredible Love Potion billboard sign that alleviated any doubts about what camp we were (thanks, Dixon!)!
-The electric (literally) monster Tesla Coil!
-The Chill Dome with it's new, bigger, better, you-better-come-in-here-and-check-out-our-awesome-chill-space door, bringing in our own campers and BRC wanderers for some comfort/relaxation/sleep and Twister action!
-And... the people. The denizens of BRC who stopped in to hang/chill/wine/dine/deejay/dance/groove/have "relations" on the tower/get jiggy with it/sit on the playatech furniture under the shade of the tower definitely brought it (it = game)!

Guess we'll finish cleaning the playa dust off our things and start planning for next year!

Love Potion Camp has been placed at 7:30 Portal & Athens and will have a space of 150 x 200+.

Whooooot! This is Love Potion's first year at a portal position so let's blow it off it's hinges!

Work parties are starting TOMORROW 7/3 - 12-8pm at the LPC, in Oakland!

Come work - come play - come help make 2010 be better than ever!

Work weekend - This weekend! 08/01 & 08/02

There are 38 days till the man burns and you know what that means!?!?!
Time to get the prep into full gear! I know it has been a long summer of good hard work and that there is more to come to make our goals a reality. I also know in my hearts of hearts that we are going to have an AWESOME time!

So here we go! - time to dig in, be a team, and kick some major power tool ass (while looking fabulous of course!)

THIS WEEKEND!
We will be working side by side on heart and camp work. Can I get a GO TEAM?!?!
-Camp projects needing attention are: (have you signed up for a task yet on our list?)

flower,
evap system,
camp lighting repair,
shade structure,
and a few other items see jen.

-PLEASE BRING -

work clothes including closed toed shoes and work gloves if ya gott'um
swimsuit - or birthday suit!
and food/drink to share

-Also we need to make sure we are extra good on clean up after our work parties - with so many people in bill's home we wanta make sure we LEAVE NO TRACE.
- It helps ndot and I to know who will be out at Bill's so please let us know when you plan to arrive.

Our party @ Shine was a huge success! Thanks to those that came out and grooved with us all night long!

The Love Potion Camp would now like to invite you to Retox Lounge (http://retoxsf.com/) on Wednesday, Aug 5th, for a mid-week, post-happy hour, out-late-on-a-school-night gathering.

While we want to make sure that you, our friends and family, not only get more of a glimpse of the goings-on of 'Incardia Vere', we want to thank you for helping out and supporting the project. To do so, we will be raffling off a flight around the Bay for 2! We will be selling raffle tickets throughout the evening and will choose our winner at 11:30pm.
